WHAT'S  HAPPENING!

In-person worship, permitted in N.B. Covid Orange and Yellow Recovery Phases, is now in effect.  See Covid protocols for in-person worship below.

PLEASE NOTE:  If you know of someone in the hospital please notify the church.  Please forward items of prayer and celebration to the minister.  For emergencies, you may call Rev. Dr. Kelly Burke at 470-9634.

GREENER VILLAGE COMMUNITY FOOD CENTRE - For the month of April, we will focus on juice boxes and pudding cups. However, as always, everything is deeply appreciated.

FUNDRAISER FOR M & S SPARE CHANGE JARS  -  Is your purse getting too heavy with all those coins?  Wondering where to put your loose change at the end of the day when you empty your pockets?  Well, the NMUC Sunday School has got you covered! We are starting our annual “Spare Change Jar” fundraiser for Mission and Service.  Please take home a beautifully decorated jar to keep and fill.  We will collect them in the fall.  Jars are located in the upper foyer of the church.   Thank you to everyone for contributing.

GREETER SIGN UP SHEET – Just a reminder that there is a “Greeter Schedule” posted at the back door. During “Covid-19” we have new greeter roles to fill. We’d love to have you help out. Three people are required each Sunday: someone asking the screening questions, someone recording the names and someone ushering. As well, volunteers are required for cleaning following the service. If you would like to volunteer in one of these roles some Sunday morning, kindly fill in your name by that particular Sunday or call the Church office at 459-3313. Thanks!

PROTOCOLS FOR WHEN COVID RESTRICTIONS ALLOW IN-PERSON WORSHIP:

- Physical distancing protocols mean that we can seat approximately 50 in our worship space.
- You will be asked the basic COVID-19 health questions as you arrive.
- Your names and phone numbers will be recorded as you arrive to adhere to contact tracing protocols.
- Physical distancing of 2 metres/6 ft must be maintained unless you are in a bubble together.
- You will need to use hand sanitizer before and after service.
- Masks must be worn at all times when entering and leaving the building and also while seated.  When in the red phase or when physical distancing of 2 meters cannot be maintained, masks are also required while outside the church.
- Pew cushions have been removed.  You may bring in your own cushion if you wish.
- No congregational singing is allowed (Hymn books have been removed).  No choir.
- No hugging or hand shakes.  (Instead, enjoy those smile crinkles peeking out from the masks!)
- Even when restrictions allow in-person worship, worship services will continue to be live-streamed and the worship services will be emailed to the congregation. We will be together in worship wherever we are.

LENDING LIBRARY - To keep everyone as safe as possible in these Covid times, we ask that, when returning books, you place them in a bag with a note indicating the return date, and leave them on the bottom shelf of the library (it is marked for you.) Books will be set aside for 4 days before being put back into circulation. Thank you all, and happy, healthy reading!

JIGSAW PUZZLE LIBRARY - Doing puzzles is a great way to pass the time in the cold winter months.  Just a reminder that we have a lovely selection of jigsaw puzzles in the choir room. They are available to anyone who would like to borrow them.  When returning the puzzles, please put date of return on puzzles so the puzzles can be set aside for the number of days required to satisfy Covid requirements, before being put back in circulation.  Donations of puzzles are greatly appreciated.

BULLETIN DEDICATION - Anyone wishing to sponsor a Sunday bulletin to celebrate a family event, special day, or memorial can do so by contacting the church secretary at 459-3313.  The cost is $20."
