Rev. Dr. Kelly Burke is shown here in one of her favourite roles, baptizing an infant.

Rev. Dr. Kelly Burke, better known to her church family as Rev. Kelly, is an energetic and enthusiastic leader to her flock.  Rev. Kelly has proven to be such a good match for this congregation.  There have been so many health concerns among our congregation since she arrived in the summer of 2008 and Rev. Kelly has been so very caring and supportive of each and every one.  She has gained much respect for the many hours she has spent in her heartfelt ministering to the sick, the shut-ins and families in mourning. She continues to make visitation a priority.

Rev. Kelly does not just preach from the pulpit but “teaches” her congregation and befriends and engages the children, making them feel very much a part of our church family.  Her sincere acceptance of all people has helped to create an atmosphere of welcome in our church.  She is involved in all aspects of church life, taking an active role in the various church groups and committees.  Her energy is infectious and it is a privilege to work with her.

Rev. Dr. Kelly received her Doctor of Ministry degree from the University of Chicago Divinity School in March, 2017.  Rev. Dr. Kelly is also very involved in Presbytery matters and our outreach projects, once again demonstrating by example how important it is to reach beyond our local boundaries.  Rev. Dr. Kelly Burke puts her heart and soul in to all that she does and is truly treasured by her church family.
